Mexican rafia wrapped gourde vessel

Vintage Mexican rafia wrapped gourde vessel. Sourced in Mexico City. 

Dimensions

Approximately 12.5" tall, 9" x 9" at widest. 

Condition

Excellent vintage condition. No cracks to gourde and no rips to rafia. Please note that the gourde is not fully symmetrical nor does it have a fully flat bottom - the rafia wrapping is used to create a base that helps it stand upright. 

Care Instructions

Wipe clean with a damp cloth. This vessel cannot hold water, so we suggest if you'd like to use this for a vase putting a separate small glass filled with water inside the vase for any buds or flowers.
